Smart windows control light, heat, energy use

Erich Klawuhn is Vice President of Product Management at View Inc., a company designing and manufacturing energy-saving smart windows based on electrochromic technology that can control light and heat while reducing glare and maintaining view.

Klawuhn has more than 15 years of experience in developing new thin-film product businesses at Novellus Systems and Varian Thin-Films. He has held technical, product management, and business development positions, providing a unique perspective into developing and launching new products. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Energy Institute.

Klawuhn holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

View, Inc. is headquartered in Silicon Valley with high-volume manufacturing facilities in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
