Key research leaders from government and industry discuss future revolutions in military developments

At SPIE Defense, Security and Sensing, a panel on government funding moderated by SPIE Past President Paul McManamon, Air Force Research Lab. (ret), drew a standing-room-only crowd. Presenters included John Pellegrino, Chair, U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command Sensors Technical Focus Team, and Director, Sensors and Electron Devices Directorate, U.S. Army Research Laboratory; Walter Jones, Executive Director, Office of Naval Research; Brendan Godfrey, Director, Air Force Office of Scientific Research; and Ray Johnson, Chief Technology Officer, Lockheed Martin Corp.
