Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Company Ltd. (YOFC) was established in May1988. It's a joint venture between 3 partners, China Telecommunications Corporation, Wuhan Yangtze Communications Industry Group Company Ltd. and Draka Comteq of the Netherlands. YOFC is located at 4# Guanshan Er Road in the scenic East Lake Hi-tech Development Zone with the area of 170,000 ‡u. It is the largest R&D, fibre, cable and equipment manufactures in the optical communications industry worldwide.
YOFC's optical fibre and cable products, together with various network construction solutions are capable of satisfying rigorous demands from a diverse range of customers. The solutions have been widely applied by communications operators such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and across a range of industries from power grids, broadcasting and television, traffic, education, national defense, aeronautics, chemicals, petroleum to medical treatment. The products have been sold to more than 50 countries and regions including the USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa.
