Umicore offers infrared materials, optical coatings, components and assemblies for thermal imaging applications using either Ge or GASIR®. GASIR® chalcogenide glass can be molded or finished conventionally with DPT with complex geometry. Umicore has developed coatings, including iDLC hard coating for GASIR®. Umicore's optical-mechanical design competencies enable the manufacture of lens assemblies. Umicore also offers Ge recycling capabilities. Umicore Optical Materials USA Inc. is ITAR compliant.
