Company Description
SCT designs and manufactures custom web, in-line and batch sputtering and evaporation coating systems. Since 1986, hundreds of systems have shipped worldwide. SCT offers patented CFM sputtering technology and systems for precision optical coating applications. This patented technology allows for cold multi-layer optical coatings onto plastics sheets or parts. Systems range from 15 - 60 inch deposition sources so product throughput will vary from R&D scale to high volumes. A specialized series of ophthalmic coaters with load capacities from 6 to 200 lenses are also available. Other patented technology HiTUS provides ultra high oxide deposition rates as well as thick ferro-magnetic material deposition with excellent uniformity as well as >90% material utilization.
