Company Description
The Stellenbosch University Student chapter was founded in 2008 and joined SPIE in 2010. It currently consists of 15 postgraduate students from the Laser Research Institute at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. The key focus of the chapter being participation in community outreach in the form of youth science education and to specifically promote optics by assisting teachers with optical experiments in the classroom.
