Company Description
Rainbow Photonics was founded in 1997 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. We offer a unique novel Terahertz technology based on nonlinear optics and organic crystals. We develop, engineer and market the following products: 1) broadband terahertz generators and detectors (0.3 – 20 THz) based on our patented technology to produce high quality, stable and highest nonlinear organic crystals DAST, DSTMS and OH1, 2) compact, turn-key operated, broadband THz spectrometers TeraSys 4000, for materials identification and testing, 3) a flexible THz generation and detection unit for spectroscopy and imaging using customer designed femtosecond lasers: TeraKit and TeraIMAGE for industrial and laboratory applications in the frequency range 0.3 – 20 THz. We also produce novel cw-all solid state infrared tunable Cr:LiSAF lasers IR Point in the wavelength range 820-950 nm. In addition for particular requirements we offer our consultant services. We are located in Zurich, Switzerland and sell worldwide either directly or through our representatives in Europe and Asia.
