| Quartus Engineering and Seattle Photonics Form Teaming Agreement
Companies see synergy in teaming to better serve customers’ needs
SAN DIEGO Calif. and SEATTLE, Wash., Jan. 1, 2012 – Quartus Engineering Incorporated (QEI) and Seattle Photonics Associates (SPA) have announced a definitive agreement to form a strategic alliance focused on all areas of optical system development. QEI and SPA will utilize their expanded suite of capabilities, experience, and tools to provide industry leading products and services to the photonics community.
The agreement builds on each company’s core strengths. Under the terms of the agreement, engineering resources will be leveraged as required to employ the most technically capable and efficient solution of combined talent. SPA’s extensive optical design experience will be coupled with QEI’s heritage in design and analysis of hardened opto-mechanical systems. This combined team will provide the expertise required to deliver high-end, innovative, and robust optical products to market. This agreement essentially creates a “one stop shop” where challenging opto-mechanical systems are designed, analyzed, built, and tested.
