PERFOS is an independent platform dedicated to the research and development of specialty optical fibers. We are able to design and manufacture the photonic crystal fiber corresponding to your needs. PERFOS works in close collaboration with SME partners and university laboratories. The areas of interest are principally optical sources, sensors and amplifiers for applications in telecommunications, industry, biomedical, environment, and defense.

PERFOS develops custom microstructured fibers for all applications. The company will be presenting its newest products in these categories at Photonics West 2010 in San Francisco, Calif., from Jan. 26 to 28, on the French Pavilion at booth 1723.
PERFOS, founded in association with local industry and universities, is a R&D platform on specialty optical fibers. Its objectives are numerous: design new products for small companies and external clients, develop new technologies, enhance collaborations between universities and industry, and more. It offers state-of-the-art fiber fabrication facilities to project partners seeking to develop all types of non-commercially available microstructured fibers: silica-based, rare earth-doped, chalcogenide, plastic, airclad, hightly nonlinear, photonic bandgap, PM, multiclad, etc.
Its projects are in various domains such as industrial lasers, biomedical, optical sensors, defence, telecom, environment, etc.
