Diffractive Optics Ltd. has 20 years of solid working experience in precision optics design and manufacturing for bio-medical, solid state lighting and consumer electro-optical products. We have in-house design capabilities for imaging and illumination systems from conceptual design through prototyping and mass production of high quality optics.

Our professional engineering team adopts the latest technologies to support our manufacturing capabilities such as:
1)Injection-compression molding for high volume production of aspheric, diffractive and freeform polymer optical lenses. For micro/nano-optics or micro-fluidics components, glass lens molding and embossing replication are more preferable.
2)Metal optics by 5-axis ultra-precision diamond machining with angstrom-level surface finishing and sub-lambda surface accuracy. Electroforming is available for economical replica mirrors.
3)Ion-assisted multi-layer optical coatings and metallization in protected gold, silver, chromium and aluminum on various substrate.
4)Non-contact optical metrology, including wave-front sensing, phase-shifting interferometry combined with 5-axis precision CMM measurement are routinely used for quality assurance.
