MPB 642 nm RED FIBER LASER
Montreal, Quebec: January 22, 2009 – MPB Communications Inc. has recently introduced a 642 nm at 300 mW fiber laser to their family of Visible Fiber Lasers.

This compact, all fiber laser cavity design provides excellent beam quality, low optical noise and high reliability.

The laser head measuring only 130mm(L) x 50mm(W) x 33mm(H) is connected to the controller via an optical cable making it versatile to integrate into complex spaces.

A graphical user interface allows the user to control the laser through USB or RS232 connection. Applications in Life Sciences include DNA Sequencing, Flow Cytometry and Confocal Microscope. Industrial applications as in Laser Displays are gradually gaining prominence.
