| Piezo nano-positioning made in the USA
MICOS USA will introduce a greatly expanded miniature piezo product line at PW 2011. The product line is based on the patent pending MICOS multi-phase piezo motor. While headquartered in Germany, the MICOS subsidiary in Irvine, CA specializes in design and manufacture of the piezo product line, which makes MICOS USA the only US based manufacturer of this type of technology.
The full product line now includes linear stages up to 70mm travel at sub nm resolutions as well as full 360 degree rotation stages. All stage are available in vacuum compatible versions down to 10-10 torr as wells as crygenic versions down to 4 K. Non-magnetic versions are available on request.
