| PHAROS, ORPHEUS & LYRA – femtosecond pulses across UV-Visible-IR and single-shot to MHz repetition rate from one laser system Light Conversion delivers femtosecond DPSS amplifier, OPA and harmonics generator providing less than 200 fs output pulses, at any wavelength ranging from 210 nm to 20 000 nm and repetition rates from single shot to 1 MHz. Any combination of output parameters is available within seconds from a fully computer controlled setup. Energies of up to 100 microjoules are achieved in a tunable femtosecond pulse. Building on its years of experience and leadership in OPA production and innovative laser solutions; today Light Conversion offers the most versatile laser system for a wide range of femtosecond application. At the rhythm set by PHAROS industry grade DPSS laser, accompanied by ORPHEUS optical parametric amplifier and embellished by high and low tones from harmonic generator LYRA the trio plays the music of light at any tempo – be it Andante, Allegro or even Prestissimo. It is for the artist to choose where to play – under the objective of microscope for CARS, FWM, FLIM, multi-photon fluorescence, excitation microscopy, micromachining and microfabrication, or in larger environments for transient absorption spectroscopy, pump-probe experiments and multi-dimensional spectroscopy. With additional second harmonic bandwidth compressor (SHBC) option the system provides synchronized tunable femtosecond and narrow bandwidth picosecond pulses as well as white light continuum for applications in FSRS and SFG spectroscopy. One PHAROS can pump up to five ORPHEUS units increasing the number of independently tunable output beams and extending the capabilities and applications of the system. |
