| Krell introduces Universal Polishing Fixture for all UPC Connectors
Krell Technologies’ has introduced the Universal UVG Workholder. This polishing fixture supports all fiber optic components that incorporate UPC ferrules. The UVG accepts all ferrules that have diameters between 1.25mm to 3.2mm. This includes industry standard connectors including SC/FC/ST/LC/MU/SMA/E2000, as well as bare ferrules. A variety of Mil-spec termini and contacts can also be loaded in this fixture. Even specialty devices such as fiber bundles, cannula, and bare fiber adapters can be polished using the UVG. The UVG workholder incorporates Krell’s patented optical alignment mechanism and independent suspension design for consistent Telcordia compliance.
The UVG workholder is available for all Krell polishers including Scepter, SpecPro, Rev and Proton. |
