IPS specializes in the manufacture of high performance spectrum stabilized lasers for use in Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, metrology, fiber laser pumping & seeding, speckle free illumination & remote sensing applications. Our technology enables us to lock the laser to any wavelength without complex feedback mechanisms. Products include multi-mode and single frequency lasers & span the 532 nm – 2400 nm wavelength range. Lasers are available in 14-Pin BF packages or in turn-key modules with integral laser and temperature control electronics. New products include a 638 nm single frequency HeNe laser replacement source, an integrated laser and Raman probe, and OEM Raman spectroscopy engines.

New Advancements in Raman Spectroscopy Excitation Sources
Innovative Photonic Solutions (IPS), a worldwide leader in Raman excitation sources, announces two significant product improvements to its line of Raman lasers – namely the introduction of micro-isolator technology and the implementation of the new “ultra-track” linear tracking photodiode. These enhancements dramatically improve system performance by eliminating the destabilizing effects of retro-reflection and by providing absolute knowledge of the laser’s output power. As a result of these new advancements, system designers can now completely eliminate large & costly isolators from their systems when using IPS lasers with micro-isolator technology. Additionally, having absolute knowledge of the laser’s output power (due to the implementation of the "ultra-track" technology) allows users to normalize spectra and enables quantitative Raman spectroscopy applications.

Micro-isolator and “ultra-track” technologies are available in all of IPS’s over 40 standard wavelengths and in a wide variety of packaging options
