Infrared Laboratories
Company Description
Infrared Laboratories is a leader in infrared imaging and detection, offering products and services through its parent and US subsidiary companies to over 350 customers in over 34 countries. Founded in 1967, Infrared Labs initially supplied low-light-level detectors, low-noise electronics, and cryogenic support equipment to scientific institutions for the then emerging field of Infrared Astronomy.
Infrared Labs extended their expertise by developing the first Infrared Emission Microscope, IREM-I, used in the emerging application of semiconductor failure analysis and then designed and fielded its proprietary ultra-low-noise InGaAs camera, today selling and servicing Semiconductor design and fabrication.
Infrared Labs, designs read-out integrated circuits, a critical element for visible and infrared image sensors. With over 150 designs, Infrared is at the leading edge of new and innovative image sensing, including our TriWave® Ge-CMOS imager making IR imaging accessible to more applications such as Semiconductor and Solar Cell inspection, Biology/Medicine and Dentistry, Security and Defense, and Machine Vision.
Infrared Laboratories, headquartered in Tucson, continues to develop its domestic production, employing 30 at its Tucson facility and others in the LA and Boston areas, while simultaneously expanding into new international markets.
