Company Description
The Florida Photonics Cluster (FPC) supports the growth and profitability of the Florida photonics industry through the strength of a unified voice, by enhancing the overall photonics industry through mutually beneficial collaborations, and by making Florida the place to go for photonics solutions. FPC membership is available to all organizations that provide optics and photonics products or services, and also to non-photonics companies who provide services and products to photonics companies.
The FPC focuses on bringing together the knowledge, expertise, and service of its members to accomplish the following goals:
o Foster the growth of Florida’s optics and photonics industry
o Market Florida’s optics and photonics companies worldwide
o Facilitate and provide a means of communication within the business community
o Partner with the education community to develop the optics and photonics workforce
The FPC offers many benefits to its members including:
o A unified industry voice for accomplishing the above goals.
o Resource network that includes partnerships with economic development organizations, Florida High Tech Corridor Council, and UCF’s CREOL, The College of Optics & Photonics, providing access to business incentives, research, and educational resources.
