Home of the Balzers BAK and MSP sputter systems, Evatec is announcing further development of its "Optics Tool Box" for reducing development time and costs in production of optical thin films.
Make your life easier with the latest version of Evatec’s advanced "Thin Film Toolbox". The software package ensures seamless integration all the way from thin film design software to coating execution in 4 easy steps.
Step 1: Design your stack using a whole range of industry standard thin film design packages including "Filmstar", "Optilayer" and "MacLeod",
Step 2: Optics Toolbox helps you choose the best algorithm for termination of each layer.
Step 3: Create complete process recipe within Evatec's Khan system and process controller
Step 4: Coating execution itself using closed loop control systems within Khan
The Optics Toolbox Package is available for Evatec's BAK batch evaporator or MSP Sputter Platforms and works with either quartz or optical monitoring according to customers preference

| New PDS Plasma Source
The PDS plasma source is now available from Evatec for enhanced thin film evaporation processes. The source will be available for both new BAK box coaters and as retrofit in existing systems enabling optical coating manufacturers to achieve higher film densities with improved mechanical and optical stabilities.
Its capability for large areas in box coaters up to 1400mm , combined with low running costs, simple installation and maintenance make it a really cost effective solution for volume production. |
