Our products are used in manufacturing, medical, inspection, machine vision, and research applications by individuals as well as original equipment manufacturers. We sell directly and via international distributors. We design our cameras, hardware, and software in Buffalo Grove, Illinois with the majority of our manufacturing performed locally. We provide excellent customer support from camera selection, optics, computer software, and computer hardware to
software and system operation. We have been providing off the shelf and customized imaging solutions since 1983.

| Composite and S-Video PCI Frame Grabber
The PIXCIŽ SV5L low-profile frame grabber acquires video from NTSC, RS-170, PAL, CCIR, or S-Video cameras. A 3-input video multiplexer allows signal selection from two mini- BNC or one S-Video input. SMA connectors provide TTL Trigger In and Strobe Out. Digitized video is transferred via DMA to the host computers PCI bus as fast as the bus will allow and with minimal delay. Our included XCAP-Lite software provides adjustments to gain, hue, brightness, saturation, and contrast and can run up to 8 PIXCIŽ SV5L frame grabbers in one computer. EPIX, Inc. introduces the PIXCIŽ EB1 - a low cost, low profile frame grabber with Power over Camera Link (PoCL). The EB1 is compatible with all area scan and line scan base configuration Camera Link cameras. Experience high speed, low latency, 250 megabyte per second image transfers to a PCI Express bus x1 through x16 slot.
The PIXCIŽ EB1 safely supports PoCL cameras by detecting when a PoCL camera is connected and will disconnect power if it exceeds the specification. Standard base configuration Camera Link cameras are also supported. Meeting the low profile size requirements, the EB1 is ideal for use in space saving computers.
The PIXCIŽ EB1 is the lowest cost Camera Link frame grabber on the market, starting at a $495 price for the PoCL version. The PIXCIŽ EB1 includes EPIX, Inc.s XCAP-Lite software and is ready to run with camera specific controls for most popular Camera Link cameras and generic controls for all other cameras. The PIXCIŽ EB1 captures into host computer memory at video rate, with data available within one line time after leaving the camera. The PIXCIŽ EB1 is the fastest and lowest cost device for high speed, low latency image capture.
