| Avantes Expands Colorado Operations
Broomfield, CO (January 2009) – Avantes is pleased to announce the opening of its new fiber optic patch cord operation in Broomfield Colorado, USA. Standard patch cords are now available directly from the expanded Broomfield facility with Avantes’ industry setting standards for quality and service. “Our customers have been extremely positive about our continuing product line extensions and constant improvements on lead time”, said Greg Neece, President of Avantes, Inc. “We look forward to continuing service improvements by adding more and more value for our customers served by our Colorado facility throughout The Americas.”
Avantes new facility is an expansion of its existing building in Broomfield Colorado. Standard patch cord sizes are manufactured there for both UV/VIS (high OH) and VIS/NIR (low OH) fibers with SMA connectors.
