| Proteus High Durability Infrared Anti-Reflection Coatings
Today's detector arrays demand high performance optics to image their capability. Exceed the current performance of high resolution, large format array Reconnaissance and Surveillance systems with the Artemis High Durability Infrared Anti-Reflection (PROTEUS) coating on your front lenses or windows.
Artemis Optical's PROTEUS coatings overcome the long standing issue of high durability with the consequential loss of transmission. PROTEUS coatings allow your camera system to see further, eliminate internal reflections and maximize resolution lengthen in-service and replacement time in Land, Sea and Air applications.
Qualified and tested to 90-days salt fog to MIL-STD-810F, para 509.4, when combined with the Artemis internal high efficiency anti-reflection coating, average transmission values exceed 99% with average reflection measurements less than 0.3%.

| Artemis Optical Limited announced as Regional Finalists for HSBC’s Business Thinking Initiative Awards 2011!
198 businesses across the South West, UK applied for the HSBC’s Business Thinking initiative and Artemis are delighted to have been shortlisted as one of the six Regional Finalists.
The ‘Business Thinking’ initiative which ran for the first time last year will help HSBC to find and fund the UK’s most innovative and forward thinking companies.
Ian Moyes (Artemis -Managing Director) has been invited, along with the other regional finalists to attend a Thought Exchange Trip in Dubai, January 2012, funded by HSBC. This will allow Artemis to meet with other businesses and to investigate trade opportunities.
Following this trip, regional finalists will pitch to a panel of judges who will select two regional winners. Regional Winners will benefit from a financial reward of 2% of their lending (up to £120,000) together with a range of media coverage. The overall winner in addition, will receive double the overall UK winner’s financial reward to up to £240K.
