Company Description
Develops, fabricates, and sells engineered non linear crystals altered via periodic poling, ion exchange and other methods to provide enabling performance characteristics. AdvR offers both stand alone crystals, as well as crystals in fiber-in fiber out modules, and free space coupling configurations for end-user convenience. AdvR has also developed lasers and optical devices enabled by its crystals to meet end-user specifications. Company capabilities are continuing to focus on single photon sources, EO switches, beam deflectors, waveguide and bulk wavelength converters, optical combs, and modulators. AdvR uses a broad range of materials to satisfy customer needs, including doped and undoped versions of KTP, LiNbO, and SLT.
AdvR capabilities have mainly been developed under SBIR and other R&D funding. A high percentage of projects have been conducted for NASA and DoD. AdvR continues to seek collaborations sub-system and system manufacturers to develop targeted product characteristics for mission critical needs.
