Visa Information and Invitation Requests

Apply now for your Visa!

Passport and Visa:

Nationals of all Western European countries and the United States can visit Poland without a visa. To determine whether or not you require a visa to visit Poland, please visit the Republic of Poland Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website.

If your country is not on this page, then visit the Ministry's e-Konsulat page to determine which diplomatic mission is responsible for your area and which documents you need to provide. The e-Konsulat site can be found at this link: https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/.

NOTE: We recommend that you secure your travel visa before registering for the conference as cancellations after the preregistration cutoff may result in a cancellation fee.

Letters of Invitation:

IMPORTANT AUTHOR INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The letter template from Poland requires a passport expiration date. Please email me the expiration date of the passport you are using for your ERS invitation letter in day, month, year format (Ex: 12 June 2017).

Once we receive your email, we will process your letter as soon as possible. We will then send your prepared letter to our contact in Warsaw and he will sign and email/mail the letter to you. You will only receive a sample PDF directly from us.

FOR CONFERENCE CHAIRS, TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS, AND AUTHORS:

Individuals requiring letters of invitation to obtain travel visas must be listed on a paper or in the programme to receive an invitation letter. If you are listed in the conference programme, and are in need of an Official Invitation Letter from SPIE for visa application purposes, please submit the completed Invitation Letter Form and send it to invitationletters@spie.org
