X-ray computed tomography (CT) has undergone a remarkable development in the past two decades. Significant advances in the existing technology and new directions in its implementation and application have to be acknowledged.

Take a course at SPIE Medical Imaging 2009 to expand your knowledge and career options. Medical Imaging 2009 had 13 courses. There were new courses on quantitative characterization of cancer using in vivo imaging and exact cone beam reconstruction, plus 11 courses on both fundamental and emerging topics in medical imaging.
New for 2009: SPIE applied to CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation for Medical Physics Education Programs) to offer MPCECs (Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits) for its courses at Medical Imaging 2009. Those who took a Medical Imaging courses and met CAMPEP's qualifications were able to get CAMPEP credits at no charge.
SPIE Medical Imaging Exhibition 2009
Another successful exhibition that provided one-on-one interaction with a select group of exhibitors. Technical areas in 2009: Visual display, Image navigation, Radiation sensors and detectors, Devices for generation and measurement of light, Software solutions, X-Ray detectors.
