26 January 2016: MEP Opens Competition to Fund Manufacturing Centers in 12 States and Puerto Rico: NIST announced a competition to award funding to centers in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Utah, and Vermont. Hollins Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) centers help small- to mid-sized manufacturers in the US create and retain jobs while saving time and money to eventually increase profits.
