High-school sibling SPIE Student Members win recognition for optical system paper
High-school student siblings Rose and Michael Soskind were named regional finalists for research on improvements in resolution and performance in an optical system, in the Siemens Math, Science and Technology Regional Competition at MIT last week. The Soskinds' paper was first presented at SPIE Optics and Photonics in August.
Rose, a senior, and Michael, a sophomore, are Student Members of SPIE. They won recognition for their paper on "Achieving superresolution in photonic systems using vortex phase and amplitude."
