SPIE and Photonics Society of Poland renew ties

16 March 2011

Katarina Svanberg and Tomasz Wolinski

SPIE President Katarina Svanberg and PSP President Tomasz Wolinski recently signed a renewed collaborative between their societies.

SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, and the Photonics Society of Poland (PSP) have reaffirmed long-standing ties within their communities with the renewing of a cooperative agreement last month in Brussels.

SPIE President Katarina Svanberg and PSP President Tomasz Wolinski signed a Memorandum of Understanding recognizing the strong shared interests of the two societies, renewing agreements dating back to the founding of PSP in 2007.

SPIE also formalized support in 2009 for the PSP online journal Photonics Letters of Poland.
