Ntziachristos light microscopy work in Nature Photonics

Research led by SPIE Member Vasilis Ntziachristos that uses a combination of light and ultrasound to render 3D images through deep tissue and make light audible is featured in a recent Nature Photonics.

Ntziachristos is director of the Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging of the Helmholtz Zentrum München German Research Center for Environmental Health and chair for biological imaging at the Technische Univ. München. An SPIE Member, he has published more than 50 proceedings and journal articles with SPIE and is on the program committee for the conference on Multimodal Biomedical Imaging at SPIE Photonics West.
