Lin wins Glenn H. Brown Prize

Yi-Hsin Lin, a former student in Dr. Shin-Tson Wu's liquid crystal displays research group at CREOL-The College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida, has won the 2008 International Liquid Crystal Society's Glenn H. Brown Prize. Lin is an assistant professor at the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

Glenn H. Brown Prizes were established to advance and diffuse knowledge of liquid crystal states of matter by encouraging effective written and oral presentations of doctoral research results.
