Cheng-An Lin, an assistant professor in biomedical engineering at Chung Yuan Christian Univ. and recipient of the 2010 Ocean Optics Young Investigator Award at SPIE Photonics West, is profiled in the journal Nature.
Lin, a Member of SPIE and author of several papers for SPIE, won his award for work on synthesizing fluorescent gold nanoclusters for molecular imaging inside the body.
