Yale team report in JBO on 3D modeling of intact mouse organs featured in Futurity

A team of researchers at Yale University have for the first time created 3D models of whole, intact mouse organs using fluorescence microscopy.Image from JBO 3D video fluorescence microscopy The work, published in the SPIE Journal of Biomedical Optics (JBO), is noted in an article on the science news website Futurity. The team have presented on their work at SPIE Photonics West, most recently last January.

The article, "Multiphoton microscopy of cleared mouse organ," was published in JBO on 21 June. Authors are Sonia ParraThomas Chia, Joseph Zinter, and Michael Levene. The article includes two video segments:
