Britton Chance Biomedical Optics Award
Outstanding lifetime contributions to the field of biomedical optics through the development of innovative, high impact technologies.

Biophotonics Technology Innovator Award
Extraordinary achievements in biophotonics technology development that show strong promise or potential impact in Biology, Medicine, and Biomedical Optics.

A.E. Conrady Award
Exceptional contributions in design, construction, and testing of optical and illumination systems and instrumentation.

Harold E. Edgerton Award
Outstanding contributions to optical or photonic techniques in the application and understanding of high speed physical phenomena.

Dennis Gabor Award
Outstanding accomplishments in diffractive wavefront technologies that further the development of holography and metrology applications.

George W. Goddard Award
Exceptional achievement in technology or instrumentation for earth or planetary or astronomical science, reconnaissance or surveillance from airborne or space platforms.

Rudolf Kingslake Medal and Prize
The most noteworthy original paper to appear in the Society's official journal, Optical Engineering.

G. G. Stokes Award
Exceptional contribution to the field of optical polarization.

Chandra S. Vikram Award in Optical Metrology
Exceptional contribution to the field of optical metrology.

Frits Zernike Award for Microlithography
Outstanding accomplishments in microlithographic technology furthering the development of semiconductor lithographic imaging solutions.

Early Career Achievement Award - Academic
Significant and innovative technical contributions in the engineering or scientific fields of relevance to SPIE.

Early Career Achievement Award - Industry/Government
Significant and innovative technical contributions in the engineering or scientific fields of relevance to SPIE.

SPIE Educator Award
Outstanding contributions to optics education by an SPIE instructor or an educator in the field.

SPIE Technology Achievement Award
Outstanding technical accomplishment in optics, electro-optics, photonic engineering, or imaging.

President's Award
An individual who, in the opinion of the President and the Board of Directors, has rendered a unique and meritorious service of outstanding benefit to the Society.

Directors' Award
An individual who, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, has rendered a significant service of outstanding benefit to the Society.

Joseph W. Goodman Book Writing Award
For authorship of an outstanding book in the field of optics and photonics, that has contributed significantly to research, teaching, or the optics and photonics industry.
