Towards future use of optical fibers on Spacecraft and Space Stations, AEROSPATIALE Cannes has conducted various studies on the possibilities and advantages offered by this mode of transmission, as well as tests on behaviour in space environment of the components involved (transmitter, receivers, fibers, connectors).
