Paper Abstract

Most of the systems encountered by decision makers are dependent on fuzzy variables. In this paper a few of these systems are studied. These systems are called Variable Fuzzy Systems (VFS). The necessary details about operations on fuzzy sub-sets are reviewed. The deductive processes involved in reaching decisions about fuzzy systems are examined. The implementation of these processes in Prolog is discussed. Prolog programs (assistant) used for decision support in some of these variable fuzzy systems is listed.
