Paper Abstract

The numerical evaluation of distortions in image converter tubes (ICT) connected with the influence of a high surface resistance of the photocathode was made analytically. The main distortions are additional magnification and barrel distortion. Biplanar ICTs was made for high speed framing cameras which were successfully used in the investigation of exploding wires.
