Intelligent Microprogrammed Solid State Camera

Paper Abstract

We have developed a solid-state camera that very quickly records preselected fields of the total frame of an image. The signals that control the operation of the camera are obtained from a programmed RAM and are rapidly transfered via DMAC to the image sensor. So, programmed row clock operation, pick-up of fields closely one after the other with selected repetition rate and start inhibit time as well as asychronos frame reset and preset of integration time can be performed.
