Paper Abstract

In the simulation of the view seen from a spacecraft during a docking operation or from a low flying or landing air-craft, the use of reduced scale models of three dimensional form has proven to be a direct and useful means of generating the display associated with the simulation system. The basic elements of a visual display produced by this means are a model, an articulated image forming lens system, a closed circuit TV link and a display.
