Paper Abstract

With the characteristics of high speed, heavy density and strong dependence on control equipment, safe high-speed railway operation are affected by various factors whose interaction relationships resulted in the complexity and high risks of high-speed railway. To adopt 'basic theory, key technology and simulation experiment' method, based on the "proactive safety" concept, a visual, intelligent and integrated monitoring and early-warning platform for safe high-speed railway operation was proposed in this paper, and was described from objectives, architecture and functions, to achieve comprehensive monitoring, safety warning, decision support and information transfer and sharing in the whole operation.
