Paper Abstract
A cylindrical, non-circular miniature laser lens was designed and fabricated for scanning applications. This lens images, onto a distant screen, a laser spot of Gaussian intensity distribution (2x1/e2= 0.8mm) into a line of constant intensity within a fan of 60°.
