Paper Abstract

Two or more images may be joined at the edges in order to form an image mosaic. Mosaics are commonly used in satellite imagery [4]; a dozen or more sub-images of a planet may be joined to form a single large image of the entire planet. The same process is used in trick photography, for advertising and for special effects in film-making.
