Paper Abstract

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique based on the analysis of typical for different materials integral relations calculated from broadband spectra of plasma is developed. The broadband spectrum (250-800 nm) is captured in real-time with fast spectrometer during the laser ablation process. By this way real-time automatic identification of the nature of constituent materials is performed.
