Paper Abstract

Optical fiber sensing network is one of important aspects in optical fiber sensing research field. An optical fiber network with capability of multi-parameters detection with hetero-structure was proposed in this paper. The whole network was based on fiber ring-cavity structure, leading to gas concentration sensing based on self-collimator lens, gas pressure sensing based on Fabry-Perot (F-P) sensor, real-time strain and temperature sensing based on FBG, and distributed stress sensing based on polarization crosstalk of high birefringence polarization maintaining optical fiber.
