Paper Abstract

A novel algorithm for compensating misalignment in optical spherical surface testing is presented in this paper. In this algorithm a best fit sphere is found to compensate misalignment. It is found by minimizing the deviations among the tested surface and itself. Both the numerical and real data experiments have proved the validity of this algorithm. A spherical surface is tested and successfully compensated misalignment at different level.
