An algorithm for 3D target localization from passive radar measurements

Paper Abstract

The paper presents an algorithm for calculating the 3D target position and the velocity vector from bistatic passive radar measurements corresponding to multiple transmitter-receiver pairs. The procedure uses closedform equations, which results in a very short computation time. The algorithm can be extended to use an arbitrary number of transmitter-receiver pairs.
