Paper Abstract

Today, agricultural science &technology park is regarded as regional innovation system, a multi-componential, dynamic, competitive, coordinative and open complex adaptive system. Complex adaptive systems theory offers a new perspective to recognize and understand and promote the development of regional innovation system. Based on complex adaptive systems theory, the paper analyzes aggregation, flows, non-linearity and diversity which are specific properties of regional innovation system, and microscopic mechanisms of evolution tagging, internal models and building blocks, and macroscopic evolution driving mechanism of the regional innovation system.
