Paper Abstract

Crystal BaY2F8 represents the big interest as the perspective active media for lasers ultra-violet (UV) and vacuumultra- violet (VUV) regions. For the decision of problems with solarization this media and a choice of sources pump it is offered to use up-conversion mechanisms pump with activators from rare-earth elements (RE). We have developed technology of grown of oriented monocrystals BaY2F8, have defined influence of orientation on growth rate and quality ofthe received monocrystals.
