Paper Abstract

Algorithm has been developed for retrieving atmospheric temperature and moisture profiles from hyperspectral infrared (IR) sounder radiances under both clear and cloudy skies. Focus has been on handling surface emissivity and clouds in IR only sounding retrieval.
