Relaxation in complex systems and fractional calculus

Paper Abstract

The relaxation in complex systems is studied. It is shown that charge relaxation in complex systems has non-exponential non-Maxwell character. The physical mechanisms of non-Maxwell relaxation are established. The new generalized relaxation equations of fractional order are deduced for non-exponential relaxation.
