Rapid assembling and adjusting of aspherical optical systems by optimal method

Paper Abstract

While adjusting aspherical optical systems on laser interferometer, we measure the aberration as a result of imperfectness of aspherical optical systems by means of phase shift interferometer, then analyze and compute. Considering the overall factors such as optical parts manufacturing,assembling errors, adjusting errors in test state, we compute the direction and magnitude for adjustment based on the relationship of the aberration and assembling errors, then set the aspherical optical system according to the computation by the optimal design method. Ideal results will be obtained on iteration of the above steps for several times. The typical adjustment accuracy is 1/10.
