Paper Abstract

The most important part of the digital level is a bar code gauge identification system. This paper introduces the principle and the hardware design of the bar code gauge identification system based on DSP. The algorithm of the bar code gauge identification is also discussed in the paper. The DSP is the core of the system, with expanded FLASH RAM and SRAM, executes the core algorithm program, controls the CCD and A/D converter as the data acquisition sub-system. The LCD and keyboard are also expanded as the interface between user and the system
